Shiny New Ikea Hack!

Oh Blogosphere,

With a recent move, I’ve taken so much pleasure in “nesting” over the past few weeks. Now, with a measly budget due to paying back school loans, (Thank you, government,) I’ve taken to “hacking” my way to a designer look. I’m still in the process of perfecting the majority of the home, but I’ll share with you my favorite hack thus far! It’s an ikea hack, of course.

So to begin, I took the Ikea Linnmon table top in high gloss white, the Lerberg trestle legs in white, and a lovely can of spray paint, to transform this would-be ordinary desk into a high-fashion gold and white work haven. My favorite gold spray paint is Rust-Oleum’s Metallic Gold, the one with a picture frame on the can. It seems to be the best gold out there, not at all brassy or coppery.

Without further ado, I give you my #ikeahack, and the way I styled it!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
