Libran Libations

As a Libra, my boyfriend often makes the excuse that I am the way I am because Libra’s by nature need to surround themselves with nice things. Hence all the DIY, hacks, and other unnecessary nesting I’ve been doing around the house. Trying to create that designer space from a penny budget is hard work, don’t cha know.

But today I discovered I had a little more money than originally planned, and what did I do with it? I saved it, of course!

Ha! That would’ve made for a boring post, now wouldn’t it? I did what every good little libra does (and bad money-savers) and indulged in some Libran Libations. Aka, #retailtherapy, #what?

This Persian girl can be materialistic from time to time, right? 😚

So without further adieu, here are some of my spoils!

My trusty pineapple🍍 shirt and I conquered the outlets without breaking a sweat! (Which is quite hard to do in August in Georgia)

I also may have indulged in some scrumptious froyo! πŸ§πŸ“πŸ¦

On a more monetarily-minded note, retail therapy really works, but buyer’s regret is also very real. I try to leave the tags on for 2 weeks, without wearing them, then decide if my spending was worth it. I struggle from time-to-time to rein in my spending. It’s an ever-evolving work-in-progress. I’m getting better at saving all the time, but the journey is only in its infancy.

All-in-all, I’m pretty happy with my wallet-pillaging. What do you think?

  1. You work hard for it….taking a breath to decide if it is something that really makes you feel good is a great idea. I’m so proud of you πŸ™‚
